How do I create my Motion Stills GIF in CyberLink PhotoDirector 9?
CyberLink PhotoDirector 9 now supports the Motion Stills feature to create animated GIF that only certain area on the photo are motioned. To create your Motion Stills GIF, please do this:
- Prepare the source photos by importing your own photos into PhotoDirector, or snapshot the source photos directly from a video file using Video-to-Photo > Create Motion Stills feature.
- Click Create module > Select the
tab. - Add your source photos on the editing canvas, and then click Next.
- Pick one photo as Motion Stills static background, and then click Next.
- Use the brush tool to select the area where there is movement and you want to be animated on the background photo.
- Adjust the GIF playback speed on Frames per second bar, or add text on the photo if required.
- Select Preview to preview the GIF result, then click Save to to create your Motion Stills GIF file.
For the best results, the photos should have been taken in relative quick succession, i.e. with a still background and a moving subject/target object.
