How do I convert the video files for use on a Microsoft Zune/Xbox?
You can convert all of your current videos into files that you can then play on a Microsoft Zune or Xbox.
To convert files for use on a Microsoft Zune or Xbox, do this:
- Select all of the imported videos in the MediaShow Espresso window that you want to convert.
- Click on the Microsoft Devices button.
- Select whether you want to play the video file on a Zune or an Xbox from the drop-down menu.
- Select the preferred resolution and aspect ratio (4:3 or 16:9) for the file from the drop-down menu. If you select Smart Fit, MediaShow Espresso will automatically select the best resolution and aspect ratio for you.
- If you are only converting one file, enter a name for the converted file.
- If required, click on Browse button to select a different output folder for the converted file.
- If your computer supports CUDA technology, select Enable CUDA to maximize performance to reduce the time it takes to convert your video file.
- Click OK to start the conversion. MediaShow Espresso will convert all the selected files and output them to the specified output folder.
- Click OK to return to the MediaShow Espresso main window.
When converting video files to other formats, you can create your own custom video profile for conversion.
