How do I convert the video files for use on an iPod or iPhone?
You can convert all of your current videos into files that you can then play on an iPod or iPhone. Once converted, MediaShow 5.0 can import the converted videos into iTunes if it is installed on your computer.
To convert files for use on an iPod or iPhone, do this:
- Select Convert on the MediaShow 5.0 launcher window.
- Select all of the imported videos that you want to convert.
- Click on the Apple Devices button.
- Select which Apple device you want to play the converted video files on from the drop-down menu.
- Select the preferred resolution and aspect ratio (4:3 or 16:9) for the file from the drop-down menu. If you select Smart Fit, MediaShow 5.0 will automatically select the best resolution and aspect ratio for you.
- If you are only converting one file, enter a name for the converted file.
- If required, click on Browse button to select a different output folder for the converted file.
- If iTunes is installed on your computer, select the Add converted files to iTunes Library option if you want MediaShow 5.0 to import the files into iTunes after conversion.
- If your computer supports CUDA technology, select Enable CUDA to maximize performance to reduce the time it takes to convert your video file.
- Click OK to start the conversion. MediaShow 5.0 will convert all the selected files.
- If you previously selected Add converted files to iTunes Library, click the Add to iTunes button to import the files into iTunes. Otherwise click on OK to return to the MediaShow 5.0-Convert main window.
Note: If iTunes is not currently installed on your computer, MediaShow 5.0 will just place the converted file into the specified output folder.
