How do I convert (rip) videos from my custom Blu-ray/DVD video discs (non-protected video discs) to standalone video files in CyberLink PowerDVD 22 or later versions?

CyberLink PowerDVD 22 or later versions (Ultra edition or the 365 subscription version) now supports the converting of videos from Blu-ray/DVD video discs, which do not contain DRM (Digital Right Management) or digital content protection, to standalone video files for better playback convenience between different platforms (e.g., Android/iOS phones).

To convert/rip videos from your Blu-ray/DVD video discs, do this:

1. Launch PowerDVD 22 (or later versions), and start the playback of your Blu-ray/DVD video disc directly.
2. On the playback control bar, click to enter the Convert Disc to Video File tool. It may take a moment to load the disc contents when entering the tool.
3. Select the titles and chapters you would like to convert from the disc. You can preview the videos you are going to convert in the preview window, if required.
4. Select the quality of the converted video from the Quality option. The maximum resolution for converted videos depends on your video disc's original quality.
5. Select the export folder for the converted video by clicking on the Browse button and assigning a filename to the video. 
6. Click on Convert to start the video disc conversion.
   The conversion time could take hours, depending on the quality, the duration of the segments you selected on the video disc, and the computing power of related hardware on your PC (e.g., CPU, GPU, speed of hard drive and disc drive hardware, etc.).

Note: 

1. If there are multiple language (audio) tracks or multiple subtitle tracks encoded in your video disc, only the first language (audio) track and the subtitle track will be converted into video files.
2. The surround sound audio (e.g., LPCM, Dolby, DTS) that was originally encoded on the video disc will be converted to 2ch stereo sound. The surround sound audio pass-through or the surround sound audio export is not supported in this conversion feature.
