How do I use the Green/Blue Screen Maker in CyberLink ColorDirector 9 or later versions?
CyberLink ColorDirector 9 or later versions support the Green/Blue Screen Maker feature of replacing the background behind the main object in your video to a pure green/blue screen or other custom colors. The green or blue screen would make the video background replacement easier when post-editing in CyberLink PowerDirector.
To use the Green/Blue Screen Maker features, do this:
- Add your videos to storyboard, and then select the Adjustment tab.
- Click on the Brush mask (with motion tracking) at the Regional Adjustment Tools bar.
- Use the Brush mask* to brush the area where the main objects are located on the video preview.
- Click on the Start motion tracking button (at the preview control bar) to track the masked object, if required.
- Select the Green/Blue Screen Maker in the Regional Adjustment Tools panel to apply the green/blue screen.
- Select a custom color for the masked screen if you would like to make it in other colors (other than green or blue).
- Click on the Invert Mask button to fill the screen color at the background area of the originally-masked object.
Note: *If there are multiple brush masks got added to the video, the Green/Blue Screen Maker is supported on single mask only.
