How do I use the Green/Blue Screen Maker in CyberLink ColorDirector 9 or later versions?

CyberLink ColorDirector 9  or later versions support the Green/Blue Screen Maker feature of replacing the background behind the main object in your video to a pure green/blue screen or other custom colors. The green or blue screen would make the video background replacement easier when post-editing in CyberLink PowerDirector.

To use the Green/Blue Screen Maker features, do this:

  1. Add your videos to storyboard, and then select the Adjustment tab.
  2. Click on the Brush mask (with motion tracking) at the Regional Adjustment Tools bar.
  3. Use the Brush mask* to brush the area where the main objects are located on the video preview.
  4. Click on the Start motion tracking button (at the preview control bar) to track the masked object, if required.
  5. Select the Green/Blue Screen Maker in the Regional Adjustment Tools panel to apply the green/blue screen.
  6. Select a custom color for the masked screen if you would like to make it in other colors (other than green or blue).
  7. Click on the Invert Mask button to fill the screen color at the background area of the originally-masked object.

Note: *If there are multiple brush masks got added to the video, the Green/Blue Screen Maker is supported on single mask only.
