How do I use the clipping mask layer feature in CyberLink PhotoDirector 10?
CyberLink PhotoDirector 10 now supports clipping masks in the Layers module. Clipping masks help you create a mask based on the content in the below layer, for example text or image with transparent areas.
For instance, to add a clipping mask based on text content on your image, do this:
- Launch PhotoDirector's library, and then select Layers module.
- Click
to add new layers, and then select Create Empty Project. - Select the
(Text tool) to add text. The text you added will create a new text layer automatically. - Click and drag an image (you would like to clip it into text shape) from photo browser to add a new layer on top of the text layer.
- Right click on the layer you added in step 4, and then select Apply Clipping Mask.
- The layer where the clipping mask was applied will be clipped into the text shape from the below layer you added in step 3.
