My output frame rate is grayed out at 29.97. How can I change it?

PowerEncoder can only operate with two different output frame rates. For NTSC the frame rate will always be 29.97 and for PAL the frame rate will always be 25.00.

To change from NTSC to PAL, you need to click the Profile Setup icon (video camera). Within the Profile Setup window click the drop-down in TV Format and select PAL. After you have done this, click the New button below and then the Video tab. Under Miscellaneous, the target frame rate is now set to 25.00.

Reverse the setup to change back to NTSC.
