Why can't I capture HD video?
Click on the Settings button underneath the webcam preview window and check the Capture resolution drop-down list. If you can't capture high-definition video, it might be because your webcam doesn't support it.
CyberLink YouCam supports high-definition (1280×720) video capture if your webcam supports it. If capable, the 1280×720 option is available (without "Snapshot only" beside it) in the Capture resolution drop-down list.
If you see there is "Snapshot only" beside it, there are three possible reasons:
- Your computer equipment, such as CPU, doesn't meet the minimum system requirement.
- The webcam supports a different resolution threshold for video/photo capture.
- Your webcam driver is not up-to-date. Please contact your webcam vendor directly.
