How can I burn a System Recovery Disc in Windows 10?
To burn a System Recovery Disc in Windows 10, you need to first install the Windows Assessment and Deployment kit.
- Please install Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) for Windows 10 before burning the system recovery disc. To install, do this:
Download the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) for Windows 10 from this link: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/dn913721.aspx - Install Windows ADK.
When Windows ADK is installed, open Power2GO 10 and follow the steps below to burn a System Recovery Disc.
- Select the Utilities option and then select Burn Recovery Disc. The first Burn Recovery Disc wizard windows opens.
- Follow the instructions in the Burn Recovery Disc wizard to complete the burning process.
Note:
- If the Power2Go program cannot detect your installed ADK location properly, please select <Program Files>\Windows Kits\10\Assessment and Deployment Kits\Windows Preinstallation Environment\amd64\en-us\winpe.wim in the Burn Recovery Disc final step.
- If using Windows 64bit, then select <Program Files (x86)> \Windows Kits\10\Assessment and Deployment Kits\Windows Preinstallation Environment\amd64\en-us\winpe.wim.
