What is the Batch Editor in CyberLink PhotoDirector 365?
The new version of PhotoDirector 365 (released after Nov. 2024) supports the Batch Editor feature, which contains a set of editing tools that make it easier for users to edit multiple photos at once.
You can access this feature by clicking on the Batch Editor tab in the Edit module.
The Batch Editor includes the following tools for editing a group of photos:
- Crop/Rotate/Flip:
The option will open the Crop/Rotate/Flip window that allows you to select a group of photos and perform editing on each photo. After the editing, you can export the edited photos together to an assigned folder. - Background Remove/Replace:
This option will open the Background Remove/Replace tool that will automatically detect the prominent objects in the photos when launched, and then remove the background with AI on each photo one by one.
Please note that the object detection and background removal process will take some time to complete. The more photos you select, the longer the process will take. - Image Enhancer:
This option will open the Image Enhancer window that allows you to apply the AI image enhancement on a group of photos. The image enhancement will help improve the sharpness and color representation in the photos and will automatically run the denoising and deblurring process on them using the AI engine's analysis and adjustment.
Please note that to start the enhancement process consumes credits for every 10 photos as a minimum.
Image enhancement will take some time to complete. The more photos you select, the longer the process will take.
If you have less than 10 photos selected, the feature still consumes the same number of credits as processing 10 photos. In this case, we recommend that you use the non-batch Image Enhancer tool in the Guided module to apply the enhancement one by one if you only need to enhance a few images. - Denoise:
This option will open the Denoise window that allows you to denoise a group of photos using the AI engine's analysis and processing. - Deblur:
This option will open the Deblur window that allows you to deblur a group of photos using the AI engine's analysis and processing. - Filter (Color LUT):
This option will open the Filter (Color LUT) window where you can select a filter/color LUT to apply it to a group of photos. - Image Upscaler:
This option will open the Image Upscaler window that allows you to upscale the resolution of a group of photos via AI engine's analysis and processing.
The larger you want the new photo to be, the more RAM (memory) you'll need on your platform to process the photo upscaling. 8 GB or more is recommended. - Resize:
This option will open the Resize window that allows you to resize a group photos by percentage of original image size, or by inputted width or height in pixels.
