How do I back up my saved movie discs or slideshows files in CyberLink MediaShow 6 before I restore my system?

When working on a new Slideshow project, click the [SAVE] button to save it as a .mse file. To save Movie Disc creation project, click [SAVE] button to save it as a .mbp file.

A CyberLink MediaShow project (.mse or .mbp) file essentially contains a list of the media clips and effects used in your project, and a log of all the edits you want to make to your media. Project files (.mse or .mbp) DO NOT include the media clips in them.

You can find the saved project file in the following location:

Saved slideshow project files (.mse) are stored at:

  • (My) Documents > CyberLink > MediaShow6 > Slideshow Creations

Saved movie disc project files (.mbp) are stored at:

  • (My) Documents > CyberLink > MediaShow6 > Burning

Note: If you want to save or back up all your saved Movie Discs or Slideshows file in CyberLink MediaShow, you will need to back up the project file (.mse or .mbp) and keep all the source media clips under the same original disc drive location in CyberLink MediaShow.
