I cannot find the record button in the Edit room. How do I record audio in CyberLink AudioDirector 365?

The new version of AudioDirector 365 (released after Mar. 2024) has added an exclusive and new Record room to let you record audio onto multiple audio tracks. The original recording control options have moved from the Edit room to the Record room. You can still record audio in the Mix room.

To record audio in AudioDirector, do this:

  1. Select the Record or Mix button after launching AudioDirector.
  2. Click to enable the recording on the track that you want to put the audio on, and then click to select and adjust the audio recording device (e.g., microphone, line-in, etc.) of each track if required.
  3. Click to start the recording.
  4. After the recording is stopped and finished, the recorded audio clip will be put on the track for preview.
  5. You can click and drag the recording clip to adjust the positions or trim/split/remove the recording on the timeline further if required.
  6. Click the Produce button to export the recording into audio files, or you can go to the Edit or Mix rooms if you want to edit the recordings with other audio tools.
