How do I use the AI Voice Translator feature to generate translated audio in CyberLink PowerDirector 365?

PowerDirector 365 (version released after Mar. 2025) supports the AI Voice Translator feature for you to generate translated audio from your original video or audio.

To use the feature, do this:

1. Double click on a video that contains speech or an audio clip on the timeline, and then click the AI Voice Translator tool in the Edit > Audio > Tools panel.
2. Select the source language and the language¹ you want to translate to. Trim your video or audio if needed to between 5 seconds and 6 minutes.
3. Select Lip Sync² option if needed. The credit consumption differs if the option is enabled.
4. Click Generate to start the generation process. The feature consumes credits per generation². The longer the source video/audio is, the longer the generation process takes.
5. After the generation process is complete, you can find the generated video and audio³ in the AI Voice Translator window in My GenAI Creations⁴. Generated video format: H.264, MP4; Generated audio format: AAC, M4A.
6. Preview, delete or download the video or audio to the local hard drive and the Media room if needed.

Note:

1. Supported Languages: English, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Korean, Dutch, Portuguese, Arabic, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Filipino, Finnish, Greek, Hindi, Indonesian, Malay, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Swedish, Tamil, Turkish, Ukrainian.
2. Lip Sync option helps match the lip movements of a speaking person with translated speech. However, generated results may vary depending on the quality of the source media and the complexity of the content. CyberLink does not guarantee perfect synchronization or flawless performance in all cases.
3. AI Voice Translator is a credit-based feature. It consumes credits for video generation. Re-generation also consumes credits. If your current credits are insufficient, you can click the Get Credits button in the feature window to purchase additional credits.
4. For media that are edited or generated with AI related features, they belong to users. For more details, please refer to "What can I do and not do with the works produced with PowerDirector, PhotoDirector and Promeo? Can I use the works for commercial purpose?" in the related articles section.
5. Generated videos/audio are stored on CyberLink servers for 30 days. After 30 days, it will be permanently deleted from our servers and your PowerDirector program. We suggest you save it to your hard drive first.
