How do I use the AI Video Object Removal feature in CyberLink PowerDirector 365?

PowerDirector 365 supports AI Video Object Removal (in versions released after Apr. 2026), allowing users to remove unwanted objects from video clips via the AI engine's detection.

To use this feature, do this:

1. Click AI Video Object Removal tool in the GenAI > Video panel.
2. Select a video.
3. Adjust the selected range¹ if needed.
4. Use the brush tool² to mark the object you want to remove.
5. Click Remove to start processing.
6. Once processing is complete, preview the result.³
7. Click Add to Timeline or Download to apply the result.⁴

Note:

1. The selected range must be between 1 and 30 seconds, and clips outside this range will not work.
2. Only one brush area can be applied at a time, and re-brushing will replace the previous selection.
3. The AI-processed result may vary depending on the selected area and video content. It is not optimal for video scenes with complex backgrounds or fast motion.
4. This feature only works on the original clip, so use AI Video Object Removal before adding any effects, otherwise those effects will not be included in the result.
